Squad Commander of Morale & Recruitment. He will be partly leading and assisting the new recruitment effort, and making sure any disputes or concerns are resolved.
Changena has been promoted to
Squad Commander of Infrastructure & Education. She will be maintaining the organisation bots linked to the IRC, and assisting new and existing players in any questions or support required in-game.
Both of these officers are always available to voice your concerns, support or suggestions at any time.

In line with the new alteration in policy,
all Third Faction members are now encouraged to keep their eyes open for nice, friendly and orgless neutrals!
If you think they'd be great to be part of us, ask them
politely and if they accept, please send a
/tell to both Agrestus (even if I'm offline) and any Squad Commander or above that might be available. We'll get right to it as soon as we can!
A note for all officers: You don't need to have them register on the site before recruiting. However, please still ensure they're suitable for joining us! The registration on the site can happen after they are let in to Third Faction.
In addition, we're also assembling a Noob Island Recruitment Event. If you're interested, we'll be making characters to stay on the island and recruit newcomers to Third Faction. We've done this before and it's been quite successful. If you want to take part, you know the drill. /tell Agrestus!
NEW BOT & ALTS
Also, I'd like to make a friendly reminder to all Third Factioners that we now have a new orgbot (Baconbaps) as a result of the loss of Thirdbot. You're encouraged and required to please add all your alts again. This helps with everyone knowing who you are!
MEETINGS
Meetings have been resumed! For those of you who are a little rusty or haven't been to a meeting before, I'll describe what you need to do.
On every Saturday or Sunday (Depending on activity or demand) there will be an announcement made to attend an orgmeeting. The times of these meetings are usually announced an hour prior to the meeting starting, and usually fall around 20:00 GMT.
ALL members are encouraged to attend!
Meetings are usually hosted inside the org city HQ. The city can be accessed via the grid. If you're unsure about how to get to the meeting, feel free to ask in the orgchannel and we'll happily assist you.
If there is, or is not an orgmeeting it will be announced as the login message when you log in. If you missed this message or are unsure you caught it,

Why go to meetings?
Firstly, it lets you meet in person your fellow orgmembers and officers.
It shows you're active, and willing to participate and support Third Faction.
It allows you to have the chances of promotion, and promotion ceremonies.
It keeps you informed about recent developments, and lets you provide feedback, suggestions or questions about any topics brought up.
It creates a platform for members to team up and do various activities after the meeting has finished.
Occasionally, we'll also arrange events and competitions to take place after the meeting!
What's not to like? Keep attending!

While it's a bit silly telling people to visit the site more on the site, if you do see this message, please try and visit and contribute to the site more often, and encourage others to do so. It's a vital area of communication!
I've also noticed there's a lot of confusing stickies and announcements from years ago, and some information is spread out and outdated. In the next few days I'll be working to correct this, so stay tuned!
